Position Summary:
PhyNet Dermatology is currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven professional with a passion for dermatology to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. As the Regional Director of Operations, you will oversee, plan, and manage the activities of multiple dermatology centers within a defined territory. You will develop and implement business plans for each center to achieve the financial and service goals of PhyNet Dermatology.
Salary Range: $120K – $140K + Quarterly Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinic operations to ensure corporate goals related to service, associate engagement, and patient experience are met, maintaining a culture focused on quality medical care and customer service.
- Direct, supervise, and coordinate clinic functions including systems, budgeting, materials management, human resources, data processing, and maintenance.
- Manage daily operations, including registration, cash collection, charge preparation, and referral/authorizations.
- Gain comprehensive knowledge of dermatology clinic visits, surgical procedures, the role of referring physicians, pathology lab interactions, and cosmetic procedures to better support physicians, patients, and financial objectives.
- Participate in developing corporate goals, objectives, and policies.
- Promote cost-effective, high-quality healthcare services.
- Ensure high levels of patient and client satisfaction.
- Foster initiative, motivation, and positive morale among staff.
- Maintain compliance with government and third-party payer requirements.
- Uphold standards of quality care.
- Develop operational plans to ensure medical and logistical viability.
- Create budgets, including revenue forecasts, workload, personnel requirements, space, equipment, and support services to ensure financial viability.
- Report and interpret monthly and annual data to ensure budget compliance.
- Implement marketing plans and assist with corporate strategy development, clinic promotion, and public relations.
- Analyze market conditions, identify trends, and initiate policy or procedure changes as necessary.
- Resolve conflicts while protecting professional and legal rights.
- Address issues related to staffing, facilities utilization, equipment, and supplies.
- Improve workflow and efficiency through system and procedure analysis.
- Recommend facility improvements, including construction, renovation, and equipment purchase.
- Communicate policies, objectives, and procedures to employees.
- Select, train, and orient new personnel.
- Develop and implement performance goals and objectives with staff, manage merit increases, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
- Coordinate efforts with other Center Administrators and senior management to develop professional relations and contractual arrangements.
- Consult with medical staff to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- Represent clinics at public and professional meetings and conferences.
- Maintain professional affiliations and continue professional development to stay current with trends in healthcare administration.
- Ensure strict confidentiality in all aspects of work.
- Perform related tasks as required.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in health or business administration, preferably with a focus on finance or accounting; master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of five years of management experience, including at least three years in a healthcare organization.
- Experience in budget preparation and financial review, including variance analysis.
- Dermatology experience preferred.
Work Environment and Conditions:
- Work performed in office and field environments with frequent phone contact with clients, staff, vendors, consultants, and management.
- Ability to work efficiently under high pressure and with flexibility in working hours.
- Effective conflict resolution skills.
- Travel required.
